Art Impressions - WC Series 2 - Veranda

Heute Nachmittag muß ich doch schnell noch meine Veranda herzeigen. Die habe ich schon vor einiger Zeit gemalt, zur Karte ist sie aber erst kürzlich geworden. Hier mit TomBow Stiften und Aquarellfarben (beim Wasser mische ich immer lieber selber) das Bild gestaltet. Erst kürzlich hatte Art Impressions ein ähnliches Tutorial auf Youtube eingestellt. Einen schönen Tag allerseits...

Rainbow Maker - finish line

Donnerstag Abend. Ein Werk zum Workshop hab ich noch gemacht. Eine Premiere. Ich habe die Texture Paste Transparent Matte von Ranger mit einer Schablone ausprobiert. Das hat dann drei Tage getrocknet bevor ich mich getraut hab es wieder anzufassen. Der coole Vogel ist von Tim Holtz - kennt ihr ja bestimmt Crazy birds hab ich ja schon öfter im Einsatz gehabt :)

Thursday evening. My personal premiere - Texture paste transparent matte from Ranger. I waited three days bevore I touched it again to be sure it was dry. The bird is part of the crazy birds from Tim Holtz - I love these birds :) Bird is colored with Daniel Smith Watercolors.

Rainbow Maker - Day 6

Samstag Abend - der Kurs neigt sich dem Ende zu. Sehr interessant, viele für mich neue und schöne Ideen. Heute lassen wir es farbtechnisch noch ein wenig krachen. Mit Copics hab ich eines meiner "Persian Motifs" von Altenew gestaltet. Vorher mit feinem Gold Embossing Powder das Motiv embossed und dann mit Copics in Regenbogen Farben ausgemalt. Meine Farbwahl steht unten...

Saturday already - time flies when you are having fun :) I learned many things that were new for me. Today another color kick. With copics I colord the "Persian Motifs" from Altenew. First embossed in Gold and then rainbow Copics...

Rainbow Maker - Day 5

Freitag Abend schon. Heute hatte ich einen kreativen "Hänger". Die Sache mit Auftragen von irgendwelchen Pasten ist nicht so meine Sache - dauert zu lang - mir fehlt die Geduld. Daher heute nur eine Karte mit Happy Birthday und einem Glitzerschmetterling. Die Schablone ist von Lablanche. Der Glitzer ist Embossing Tinsel "Bridal" von Ranger. Na ja - glitzern sollte es und glitzern tut es :)

Already Friday evening. Today is not my speciality... I am not very patient and letting things dry is very hard for me as I like to go on... Only one Card turned out to be quite presentable. So enclosed the Happy Birthday Card with a Lablanche Stencil and the Embosing Tinsel "Bridal" from Ranger.
It was asked for shimmer and it did....

Rainbow Maker - day 4 - Project B

Mein zweites Werk heute Abend Laura Bassen hat es uns gezeigt. Distress Inks auf die Unterlage. Wasser drauf spritzen und das Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock Papier einfach drauf legen.
Habe schon lange einen schönen Hintergrund für das Kreuz gesucht...

The second try this evening was inspired by Laura Bassen. I really did Smoosh :) In the case of the cross I did take the Distress inks put them down on the craft mat, spritz and smoosh - love it. So much fun every project different - takes some tries and I will get the small cubes for sure :)

Rainbow Maker - Day 4

Donnerstag ist es schon, die Workshop Woche fliegt dahin. Heute geht es um Aquarellfarben oder Distress Inks. Ich kämpfe immer noch mit dem richtigen Papier. Die Farben sind bei meinem ersten Projekt heute Abend echt kräftig aber ich wollte es mit ein paar Lagen auch krachen lassen.

Already Thursday. Workshop Week is flying ahead. Today Watercolors and Distress Inks. I will certainly try Debby Hughes amazing design on a silent afternoon the next weeks... Still struggle a bit with the papers but my first project this evening is with strong and deep Daniel Smith Watercolors....
It is Thank You in German and goes to our Teachers....

Rainbow Maker - Day 3

Hallo am Mittwoch Abend! Heute gibt es einen Bericht zum dritten Tag unserer Schulung von Rainbow Maker. Ich habe mich mit Cathy's Projekt befasst. Sie hatte es mit Kreisen zu wunderbaren Regenbogen arrangiert. Leider hab ich nicht so viele Kreise aber ich dachte mir - hey du hast Rahmen. Funktioniert genau so. Einfach die Regenbogenfarben aus dem Cardstock heraus sortieren, zuschneiden und ausstanzen. Dann alle einfach aneinander legen. Es gibt bei meiner Stanze insgesamt am Ende 6 verschiedene Karten farbenfroh und fröhlich... Heute wird das auch eine Geburtstagsüberraschung für meine Cusine Dayna in USA.

Rainbow Plaids
Hallo Ihr Lieben, heute habe ich mir das Rainbow Plaid für mein "Feierabendprojekt" ausgesucht.
Ich habe Farben von Heroarts "Cubes" benutzt um das Plaid das Laura Bassen heute vorgestellt hat, zu gestalten. Leider hab ich keine Streifen Stempel in meinem Sortiment. Zufällig hab ich in einem Artemio New York Set diesen Karostempel gefunden. Gefällt mir ganz gut :)

Hi there, today I have chosen the Rainbow Plaid for my after work project. As I did not have any stripe stamps I saw in the tutorial of Laura Bassen I was not sure what to do. But looking through all my stamps I found on an Artemio Set called New York these little squares in a line. I took Hero Arts Dye Ink the Colors Ultra Pink, Pale Tomato, Lemon Yello, Green Hills, Cornflower and Passion Flower. I am not sure if one can see the vellum on my picture....

Rainbow Maker - Day 1 - 2nd try

Hier noch eine zweite Variante die ich gleich heute Abend noch ausprobieren mußte. Diese schöne Pusteblume hatte ich schon mehrfach in Gebrauch aber mit dem Watercolor Paper von Ranger und den Distress Oxide Farben ist das noch einmal eine ganz andere Farbexplosion :)

Hi there is the second variation I made today. The lovely dandelion with Butterflies is just in perfect harmony with the amazing Distress Oxide Colors and yes the Distress Sprayer :) Love it!

Rainbow Maker - Day 1

Hallo Ihr  Lieben, heute startet der Rainbow Maker workshop. Habe bereits brav die Videos studiert und kann stolz hier mein erstes Ergebnis präsentieren. Die Schablone für das Herz hab ich mit einer Stanze selber gemacht. Papier ist ein relativ simples Aquarell Papier von Boesner aber die Farben sind der Knaller Distress Oxide von Ranger.

Hi There, today our workshop Rainbow Maker started. I watched the Videos and I am happy to present my first work. The Stencil was made of thick card stock and a Heart shaped die from Memory Box. Paper is a relatively simple watercolor paper but the colors :) Distress Oxide from Ranger.
I tried what Kristina proposed and gave the Distress Sprayer a try - well - very nice I think...
