Clean & Simple Holiday Card - day 5

Einen schönen Mittwoch Abend allerseits. Der letzte Tag des Kurses stand bereits am Freitag an, leider hat mir eine Migräne einen kräftigen Strich durch meine Planung gemacht. Heute leider also mit Verspätung noch mein Projekt zum Thema Heat Embossing. Leider bin ich da noch nicht besonders gut, schlichtweg weil ich es zu selten mache und mir dieser Heißluftföhn mit seinem Gebläse einfach zu viel Lärm macht...
So oder so muß ich aber zugeben, dass die im Kurs gezeigte Technik echt ein Knaller ist. Michelle Short zeigt da ganz wunderbar, was man alles mit ein bisserl Embossing Powder aufpeppen kann.
Ich hatte eine Sizzix Alterations von Tim Holtz die sog. Tattered Poinsettia im Einsatz. Bin recht zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis.

A good wednesday evening to you. Last day of the class was Friday I know unfortunately a very bad headache came inbetween of my plans... So a little late today my project with the subject of Heat Embossing. I am really not very good, simply I do not do it often as I do not like the noise of the drying tool...
Anyway I have to say that the technique shown by Michelle Short was really very easy. I had this old Sizzix Alterations of Tim Holtz the Tattered Poinsettia at hand and I am quite happy with what came out.

Nun zum Projekt von heute. Leider bin ich nicht mit Foils also Glanzfolien ausgestattet, daher mußte ich eine Alternative Variante gestalten. Ich fand das Projekt von Christian Werner ganz toll aber da meine Glitzerpaste leider auch aus ist hier mal eine andere Variante der "Massenproduktion"...

Hi there, as I am unfortunately not eqipped with foil and the Glitter Paste is almost empty I decided to make an alternative project with what I have. All these wonderful snowflakes of the last days inspired me to make this little projekt with Distress Oxide and my Stampendous Set of the Delicate Snowflakes ... I made three cards ... hope you like this idea....

Adventskalender Advent Calendar

Bevor ich heute Abend mit meinem Workshop weiter arbeite, hier noch ein Projekt zum Thema Adventskalender. Die Kalender von diesem Jahr kann ich Euch leider nicht zeigen, sie sollen ja für Kinder bzw. Empfänger eine Überraschung sein. Hier also welche vom letzten und vorletzten Jahr..
Vielleicht ein Inspiration für Euch aber Gas geben, die Packerl füllen sich nicht von allein und der erste Dezember ist nicht mehr weit weg...

Perhaps this is a little inspiration for you but go quick the parcels do not fill themselfs up without your help.. and December 1st is not far away...

Clean & Simple Holiday Card - day 3 - project 2

Noch eine weitere Idee von heute habe ich versucht umzusetzen. In dem Fall war ich heute mit dem trocknen bei den Aquarell Farben ein wenig ungeduldig. Meine Schneeflocke ist eine ek Stanze ein absolutes Knaller Teil. Ich liebe die ek Stanzen - sie sind zwar leider etwas teuer aber egal welche mich hat noch nie ein in Sachen Qualität der Ausstanzung enttäuscht und es geht wirklich fast jedes Material :) meine blauen Engerl passen auch dazu...

Another Idea from todays class was presented by May Park. I had left some blue watercolor from Daniel Smith on my pallet from an older project - that is the cool thing with watercolor - get water on and the color gets alive again :)
My Snowflake is a die from ek I love ek dies they are unfortunately a little high in price but no matter which one I took over the last years there was never a single one that disappointed me. Almost every material can be used :) Sequens and nuvo Jewel Drops make the finish... and my blue Angles fit, too.

Einen schönen Mittwoch Abend. Heute kam die Inspiration von Kristina Werner mit einem Modernen Christmas Tree. Sie fertigt die Karte komplett auf Aquarell Papier ich hatte sehr hübsche Grüne Karten gerade für Weihnachten besorgt und daher meinem Projekt einen anderen Rahmen verpasst.

I recently got some lovely green Cards and thought the combination with the white aquarell paper would be a nice frame for the tree. I did not use the liquid drops but I had some very lovely little Swarovsky jewels that matched perfect with the green of the tree ...

mein zweiter Versuch so um 21.30 Uhr ohne Tageslicht. Habe mir das Video von Cathy Zielske ebenfalls angeschaut. Ich hab mir mal ähnlich Schneeflocken besorgt und drum gedacht das müsste doch ganz flott gehen - und so war es auch....

Hey there again me, it is half past nine in the evening now no daylight I tried to do my best. Watched the video of Cathy Zielske and as all of the ladys she explained everything very detailed and I just had to give it a try. As I once had ordered almost similar snow flakes I thought it might be quite easy to copy the project my way - and that is the result...

Clean & Simple Holiday Card II

Der Kurs geht weiter und heute habe ich gleich beim ersten der Videos "Feuer gefangen". Jennifer McGuire hat eine sogenannte "Shaker Card" gestaltet ohne irgendwelche Plastik Hilfsmittel sondern nur mit einer Schicht Tüll zwischen den beiden Ausstanzungen. Ich stehe ziemlich auf Sterne und darum hab ich das Projekt mit einem Stern nachgearbeitet. Ich habe einen Hintergrundstempel mit ganz vielen Sternen ausgesucht ich glaube das ist einer von Hero Arts aber schon ziemlich alt und dazu ein paar Glitzersterne und Sequins gemischt damit es hinter dem Tüll oder Netz schön funkelt. Hier mein Ergebnis.

Hi there, as our class moved on to day two I was on flames right after seeing the frist video of Jennifer McGuire. She did this "shaker card" without any plastic inbetween just a peace of tull.
As I am fond of stars :) I decided to use an quite old background stamp with stars I think it was one of hero arts, a big star punch and then added some glitter stars and Sequins between the tull so that one could see the sparkle through...

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

es ist wieder Zeit für eine Schulung. Es geht passend zur Jahreszeit um Weihnachtskarten. Ordentlich und Einfach.

Julie Ebersole hat ein sehr schönes Projekt als Muster gezeigt, dass ich dann für meine Zwecke umgeändert habe... Erst zeige ich Euch die Variante aus der Schulung und dann meine "Schutzengel" Version. Über die letzten Wochen habe ich einige Perlenengel angefertigt und die passen ganz wunderbar auf diese Karte.

Julie Ebersole had an amazing little Project that I tried to copy followed by my version of the project in German that will fit perfect with my guardian angles that I put together over the last few weeks...
